We have a small pond in our backyard. There are fish and at least one frog living there. There are also about half a dozen cats who regularly check out the pond, trying to figure out how to get the fish. I thought of “shooting” them with paint or colored water so their owners would realize they were treading in unwanted areas, but my husband thinks it might be illegal. I don’t want to hurt the cats, but I want the fish to live. Cat lovers, don’t bother. I have a cat, too, so I don’t **** them, but I keep mine inside.
