I have a fish pond in my backyard which i have recently cleaned. After two days again the bottom has started to get blackish with the fish ****. There are many guppies, a pair of mollies, a moor, 4 carps, a sucker and 3 regional fish( caught from a nearby canal ) in my pond. Please suggest me a method to get rid of the **** ( daily or periodically ) and keep my pond clean :)

I am worried about the safety of having a deep pond with children around. How can I make it safer?
Are there any other alternatives to prevent freezing without having a deep pond?

Its not our house and not our pond. We are renting so I’m not putting hundreds into this. I also can’t entirely start over with it, because that would kill the fish. We can’t catch them.
