Hi I’ve bought a larger terracotta pot for the garden and painted it internally with pond liner.it also has a solar fountain can I put a couple of fish in this or do I need a 24/7 fountain as mine is just solar to keep a couple if goldfish.

i want to make a pond this summer and im thinking about making it out of cement, and i read on a few pond websites that if i made a pond out of cement i would have to either seal it with water sealing paint,or i could fill it up with water then drain it a couple of times and not have to use the sealer, has someone done this before?, do u think i should seal it or should i just fill and empty it a couple of times?,
