At what temperature should I stop using the pond pump?

We invested in a pond pump in late spring as the house we just moved into had a pond that was dying. The water is now clearer and the fish are healthier. Just not sure when we should stop using the pump – winter is just around the corner and any info would be gratefully received. Thanks.
