Is there anything we can do to dry out these muddy ponds? They are muddy ugly and full of mosquitos. Is there anything we can do to the actual ground to stop this from happening each year? If any experts or someone who has been through this with their property can help me out that would be great!!

They are very small ponds. No species live in there but mosquitos!

   I wouldn’t touch them. They are probable considered “wet lands” and if you drain them or otherwise interfere in the normal cycle of things, you may get a huge fine or go to jail.

   This is VERY true in Michigan.
