Easy paintings for christmas presents? what can i paint?

so i want to paint my dad and brother pictures on canvas. I was thinking about painting them waterfalls and ponds, but all i see are really hard paintings that would be harder than me (a very amature painter) should i paint them water scenes? i was thinking of easy optical illusions also?
