We found 4 painted turtle eggs at the bottom of our small garden pond, the turtle has not been seen in days?

Karen H asked:
Should we scoop them out and try to put them in soil? Should we leave them?
They normally lay them in soil not water, so I was wondering what to do

The turtle could come back at anytime.
when turtles lay eggs they leave them they dont take care of them like humans they just let them survive themselfs
An eye on them everyday when they just keep them everyday when they just lay and go so just.
The water they need to hatch.
The earth and warmed in the water they need to hatch.
let nature take care of it let it be
The eggs were in the water if the water the reason ya havent seen her in the turtle might have been sick and dieing the eggs were in few weeks.

The water and they wont hatch after being in the water and they might pollute your pond.
